Prevenção de lesão por pressão na terapia intensiva: percepção de profissionais de enfermagem

Objetiva-se identificar os desafios para a prevenção de lesão por pressão na percepção de profissionais de enfermagem. Pesquisa qualitativa de cunho descritivo. Participaram 145 profissionais de enfermagem de seis terapias intensiva, entre março a maio de 2018. O instrumento de coleta constou de dados sociodemográficos e duas questões norteadoras: Quais as medidas preventivas que você tem dificuldade de implementar no seu ambiente de trabalho? Para você, existem fatores que dificultam a implementação das medidas preventivas para lesão por pressão? Utilizou-se o Software IRAMUTEQ e analisou-se com nuvem de palavras e dedogramas. Obteve-se aprovação pelo parecer n. 2.495.293. Aplicou-se o IRAMUTEQ e as palavras mais frequentes foi Mudança de decúbito, prevenção, dificuldade e falta material. Na percepção dos profissionais a prevenção da lesão por pressão é permeada por inúmeros desafios, sendo a mudança de decúbito o fator preponderante. Implicações para a prática: A inexistência de dispositivos de apoio não invalida a necessidade e a importância da mobilização do paciente para o alívio em áreas de maior pressão.
