This article brings the study of the social project of Karate and its social formation in young people who participate of the pastoral care of the minor, based on the promotion of physical activity, pedagogical and educational actions for the community, allowing us to discuss through questionnaires the path of social formation and presenting its development. The aim of this study was to verify the changes in the behavior of young people from the perception of the students and teachers participating in the project. The applied method includes a qualitative observational research with a group of teenagers who practice the modality and attend the pastoral care of the minor. The result showed that the female group had an evolution in character and a fall in relation to respect, influencing behavior. While in the male group, there was a fall in the respect factor and an increase in aggressiveness. As final considerations, it is possible to affirm that the social project is not studied enough and deals with children in situations of social risk, therefore, their engagement in this type of sports social project demonstrates to contribute to good-nature behavior, but the need for family support is noted.
